No man’s land, 7am and numb.

I dedicate this photo to Olivia, my loving sister.  Taken after 13 hours on a freezing night bus from Sucre to Villazon, hugging Bolivian ladies and laptops for survival and battling Bolivian bus ticket touts and border control tambien.  Now THAT’S what they call dedication. Or is it love? Or maybe my mind was so numb I saw the name Olivia and felt the warmth and love of my little sister and clung to the feeling of familiarity and comfort…or maybe it was the warmth of the sunshine that made me slow down and stop. Mmm.

I was somewhere in between Bolivia and Argentina at the time, on a bridge, in no man’s land, I believe.
