10 dogs, a car crash and a taxi outta here

And all before 9 o clock. If ever there was a kodak moment…. imagine 10 dogs (that’s how they walk them in Buenos Aires, in packs) all tied by their leads in varying lengths and colours to a waste bin in the street on this quiet Friday morning in leafy Las Canitas, Palermo. The dogs are waiting for their walker who has slipped off somewhere, I am waiting (behind the safety of the bars of the apartment building) and all of a sudden… high speed mercedes meets higher speed, two wheeled transit van careering around the corner.

Crash, bang, whollop. Well, it certainly gave us all a good show – thankfully all parties escaped unscathed from the wreckage and my just a few minutes late taxi driver should have been thanking the Lord that his tardiness saved him from the pileup. I certainly was glad as I made it to the airport on time…

Right now I’m Sao Paolo, Brazil, seat 34a, British Airways, London-bound. I’ve even picked up wifi from the terminal building and my plane friend has disembarked. Phew.
