Snowed in? Too bad…
I’ve been rolling about in the snow today dressed up like I’m off skiing. I thought I’d take advantage of the severe weather conditions and go for a hike in the hills with my camera, only to stumble across a field of bewildered looking ponies, who looked at me like I was nuts (perhaps it was the fluro-red moon boots they were admiring).
But then they quite liked me when i jumped on their frozen water trough and removed the icebergs.
A happy ending.
PS Re “Severe weather warnings” – someone once said to me…’there ain’t such thing as bad weather – only inappropriate clothing’. I concur. Check out my outfit below…
Back to reality
It’s an incredible feeling flying whilst the sun is rising, it is, for me, soul food. I can safely say I had a very satisfactory breakfast today. I most certainly ‘breakfasted like a king’. Flying from Alderney across the waters, boats glistening in the morning glow, a low mist covering the land. Mesmerising.
Time to dust off my camera and fly back to the UK, where a whole year of exciting prospects lie awaiting. New commissions, new projects, new plans, ideas, meetings, friends, acquaintances are all about to unfold.
